Alongside the evidence that forms the Report, the Inquiry has sought and considered the views of others to assist its understanding of the issues arising from the UK's involvement in Iraq.
The Inquiry Committe met about 50 families of members of the Armed Forces who died as a result of the Iraq campaign, and around 50 veterans of the campaign, including many who were injured. Members of the Committee also spoke to about 60 civil servants and diplomats who worked on behalf of the UK government in Iraq.
Prior to its first round of hearings, the Inquiry also held two expert seminars with academics and commentators on Iraq. Sumbissions published following the seminars can be found in the news archive.
